Emily hails from a long-time Kootenay family, and grew up between Castlegar and Nelson. A graduate from Stanley Humphries Secondary School, she obtained her bachelors degree in Political Science and Communications from the University of Ottawa before completing her law degree at the University of Victoria. After completing her articles with Lysenko Law, Emily was called to the bar in 2021. Emily focuses primarily on family law, estate planning and litigation, and civil litigation, but also takes on real estate, human rights, and residential tenancy matters. In her downtime, Emily can be found hitting the slopes, camping near one of BC’s many beautiful lakes, or baking treats for her wife and their extremely spoiled dog, Spoon.
Emily is pleased to offer services in English and French, and speaks conversational Italian. She provides advice to clients around the province both in-person, and remotely.

Gabriel was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C., and is currently completed his articles in Rossland, B.C. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia, he received a government scholarship to attend the Shanghai Conservatory of Music where he studied jazz guitar and travelled throughout China for 11 months. Upon his return from Shanghai, Gabriel moved to Montreal, QC, where his work as a legal assistant for an immigration lawyer inspired him to apply to law school. In June of 2022, Gabriel graduated from the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law. When outside of the office, Gabriel can be found playing either soccer or basketball, skiing, or playing music with friends.
